Elayono USA presents the fifth edition of its international gospel conference, bringing together believers and renowned worship ministers for three days dedicated to seeking God, strengthening faith and embracing a new season of spiritual growth.

Three Days Set Apart for Prayer, Worship and the Word of God The international Christian conference “Injira Mu Gihe Cyawe” (Get In Your Season) is returning for its fifth edition, with this year's gathering scheduled to take place from October 23 to 25, 2026, in Portland, Maine, United States of America.
Organized by Elayono USA, under the spiritual leadership of Rev. Prophet Ernest Nyirindekwe, the three-day conference will take place at DoubleTree by Hilton, 363 Maine Mall Road, Portland, Maine, USA, with daily sessions running from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The conference is an opportunity for Christians from different backgrounds, communities and nations to come together in an atmosphere of prayer, worship, biblical teaching and spiritual fellowship.
Now in its fifth edition, Injira Mu Gihe Cyawe continues to carry a message of faith, renewal and readiness for God's purpose in every season of life. More than a musical gathering, the conference is designed as a dedicated time for believers to reflect on their spiritual journeys, deepen their relationship with God, receive encouragement through His Word and unite in worship. “Get In Your Season”:
A Message of Faith, Preparation and Spiritual Renewal
The Kinyarwanda expression “Injira Mu Gihe Cyawe”, translated as “Get In Your Season,” speaks to the importance of recognizing God's timing, remaining steadfast in faith and preparing spiritually for the opportunities and responsibilities ahead.
Throughout the three days, participants will be encouraged to seek a deeper understanding of God's Word, strengthen their prayer lives and approach the future with faith and confidence in His promises. The conference will provide an environment for personal reflection, corporate prayer, prophetic ministry, praise and worship, and meaningful Christian fellowship. For those navigating difficult circumstances, waiting for answers to prayer or seeking renewed spiritual direction, the gathering offers a space to step away from everyday demands and intentionally seek God's presence.
Rev. Prophet Ernest Nyirindekwe: A Ministry Reaching Across Continents

At the heart of Injira Mu Gihe Cyawe is the ministry of Rev. Prophet Ernest Nyirindekwe, a Rwandan-born Christian leader, evangelist and founder of Elayono Pentecostal Blessing Church, whose work has reached Christian communities in different parts of the world. Originally from Rwanda's Southern Province, Prophet Ernest began his ministry journey in 2007 and has dedicated nearly two decades to preaching the Gospel, teaching the Word of God and encouraging spiritual growth. Through Elayono's international ministry, he has served communities in Rwanda and beyond, including engagements in Europe and North America.
His ministry emphasizes prayer, humility, love, biblical teaching, fellowship and the importance of building a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. In 2026, his international engagements have included activities in Belgium, Sweden, France, Canada and the United States, reflecting Elayono's commitment to sharing the Gospel across geographical and cultural boundaries.
The upcoming Maine gathering represents another chapter in this continuing ministry journey, bringing the message of Injira Mu Gihe Cyawe to believers in the United States.
Renowned Gospel Worship Ministers to Join Edition 5 Alongside the preaching and prayer sessions, Edition 5 will feature a lineup of talented gospel worship ministers whose participation will contribute to the conference's atmosphere of praise and thanksgiving. The announced worship team includes Willy Uwizeye, Aimé Frank and pianist Nzungu, each bringing a distinctive musical ministry.

Willy Uwizeye is a Burundian gospel worship minister known for his contributions to Christian worship music in East Africa and beyond. With songs including “Uri Mwiza Yesu,” “Ni Wewe Bwana” and “Turafise Imana,” Willy has built a ministry centered on praise, worship and encouraging believers through gospel music. His participation in Injira Mu Gihe Cyawe – Edition 5 will add a powerful expression of worship to the three-day gathering.

Aimé Frank is a gospel worship minister whose music and ministry have reached Christian audiences in Rwanda, East Africa and international communities. Known for gospel releases including “Ubuhamya bw’Ejo” and “Umugisha,” he has participated in worship gatherings and Christian ministry activities beyond Rwanda. His presence at Edition 5 will provide another opportunity for believers to unite in worship and thanksgiving.

Zacharie Mugunga, widely known as Nzungu Pianist, is a Rwandan gospel pianist recognized for his instrumental worship performances and distinctive musical expression. Currently based in the United States, Nzungu has participated in Christian music engagements in Rwanda and abroad, using the piano as an instrument of worship and spiritual encouragement. At the Maine conference, his musical ministry is expected to enrich moments of worship, prayer and reflection.
Together, these worship ministers will join Rev. Prophet Ernest Nyirindekwe in creating a meaningful environment for participants to worship God and grow in faith.
An International Vision: One Gospel, Across Nations
Injira Mu Gihe Cyawe is part of a wider international vision through which Elayono brings believers together across countries and continents. Over the years, Elayono's ministry activities have extended beyond Rwanda, reaching Christian communities in countries including Canada, France, Belgium, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States. Earlier in 2026, Elayono France announced its Injira Mu Gihe Cyawe gathering in Paris, scheduled for July 10–12, following other international ministry engagements. In Canada, the church also marked a significant milestone in May 2026, celebrating ten years of Elayono ministry through a gathering centered on prayer, thanksgiving, worship and fellowship. These international activities reflect a mission that extends beyond individual church locations: connecting believers through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and encouraging spiritual growth wherever they live.
For Rwandan and East African Christian communities living abroad, events such as Injira Mu Gihe Cyawe also provide opportunities to gather in faith, maintain fellowship and share their spiritual heritage with believers from other backgrounds. The fifth edition in Maine continues that international vision.
What to Expect at Injira Mu Gihe Cyawe – Edition 5
Over the course of three consecutive days, participants can look forward to an atmosphere centered on corporate prayer, praise and worship, the preaching of God's Word, prophetic ministry and fellowship. The gathering is intended to encourage individuals and families to renew their spiritual commitment and strengthen their relationship with God. Whether attending from Maine, neighboring American states or other parts of the world, participants will have an opportunity to connect with fellow believers around a shared message of faith, hope and spiritual renewal.
